This piece is a powerful one. I painted it through my transition of pregnancy- dreaming about becoming a mother, to a place where I no longer felt like that dream was going to happen- when I lost my baby right before my due date.
It represents those hopes and dreams that I had, along with the resilience I felt to finish this piece even when it all came crashing down.
The colors and feelings are intense and beautiful just like life's challenges.
